Neos U22 mag slides out of handle.

The title says it all. I haven't used my Neos for a while. Loaded a mag, 10 rounds, pushed the mag in and the mag slid out.

    Any ideas, help??

Thanks for your reply. I took the neos apart and I think the problem is dirt.

The mag worked for 9 rounds loaded. but not ten.

Not a NEOS, but I have a Colt .22 that uses the same magazines (supposedly).

So far, mine have always locked in; but they seem to release very easily. I haven't lost one yet, but the gun is mostly a range toy because of just how easily the magazine release works. I can imagine being deep in the squirrel woods and suddenly discovering I have an in wieldy single shot on my hip.

    Lock the slide back, first.
