Very nice presentation. I felt like I was there. I love your smiling, knee deep in cold river water and moose guts.

Very nice, congrats. My hunting is over unless it's for dove and I didn't get to go this year due to property access issues. It was the first time in over 20 years I did not go on opening weekend.

At least I can go plink at our private range. The 200 yard max range suits me just fine now-a-days.

    Thanks for sharing.

I loved your post! Haven’t been able to hunt in three years ( have had 7 surgeries). So hopefully next year I can go and moose would be great before I get much older.

That was a treat to read and watch. I am taking it that you didn't need to shoot at the 408 yard mark as the video made it appear much closer by the time you called it back in. Love your giving glory to God in the process.

I've canned WT buck meat before and it turned the toughest animal I've ever shot into the most tender cubes one could imagine. Fellows, if you are interesting in canning meat wild game is perfect for this application. A little research online and, as mentioned prior, the canning companies have excellent booklets to learn from. It isn't hard and well worth the effort.

Marco, what a hunting story. You could publish that. Congratulations are sent and much deserved.

I shot a Shiras moose in 1990. Hard to believe it has been that long. I too used a 308 Winchester out of a BLR. Two 165 gr Barnes X bullets did the job. At age 69 I can easily believe my days of packing or sledding one out solo are far behind me.

    Good morning Marco
Thanks to God for sending one of His tasty critters to feed you and loved ones another season.
Yes it is a young mans venture. Takes alot of determination to keep the muscles strong and the mind centered on Who is important.

Thanks, Marco. Great story. BTW: you aren't old yet. I'm 71 and still plan to go hunting every year until I drop.
