If you run out of ammo, you could throw it at the mastodon and do some serious damage.

Next time you shoot this hand cannon, record your COA measurement, shoot 1 or 2 rounds, then check COA of the remaining rounds in the cylinder for boolit creep against the crimp.Originally Posted by Paul105

If you discover the boolits pulling crimp even slightly it could sure open up groups as COA very much affects pressure, which in turn affects accuracy.
It looks like a carbide factory crimp die was applied, these may lessen the amount of case tension due to springback in the brass, this would also promote boolits pulling against the crimp.

Nice a WFN at 700-800 FPS would be fun.
With the muzzle blast even a miss would be something to contend with. Either wear your ear plugs all the time or hope the perp gives you a heads up before attacking.
