Browning Double Auto Barrel 30.5" * Bead Only

I got a double auto at an auction and it has an extra barrel, BUT the extra barrel and the installed barrel are the same, 30.5" full choke bead barrels. Maybe the guy shot trap and swapped barrels?? Anyway I was hoping to trade the second barrel for a double auto barrel along IC or M in a little shorter length. The 30.5" full installed is a clays destroyer.

Have you confirmed the constriction on both barrels confirming full? one may have been reamed to mod or imp.mod. Or are you reading constriction based upon barrel markings.

Excellent point, as the original owner may have wanted the same length and weight barrel for a different type of shooting.

The barrels are exact replicas, both 30" full barrels (I checked the constriction). They are for standard DAs, i do not believe A5 barrels will interchange.

Since it’s long, couldn’t you have it shortened? Could even get it modified to accept removable chokes.

i was hoping to trade with somebody, I'll probably be out a few hundred to have it shortened and choked. Hate to do that to a 30" full, as it's hard to find long barrels.
