For Thought and Meditation - Saturday, September 30

Good morning all. A simple, yet powerful message and reminder. Somebody needs to hear this. Have a safe and blessed day.

    Cry For Help

    Hagee Ministries

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
    Psalm 46:1

When we are overwhelmed, God is our safe place to hide. When we are in the grip of a crisis, He stands ready to assist. His ear is attuned to our shout for help.

In the middle of a storm, Jesus came walking on the water towards the disciples’ boat. Peter was the only apostle who had the courage to get out of the boat and walk towards Him. In a blink, he was drowning in waves he had been walking over moments before. As the sea crashed over his head, Peter shouted a short and powerful prayer, “Lord, save me!” (Matthew 14:30)

His desperation caused him to be blunt. Our humble “God, I need you” pulls Him into our situation. We will never be independent of Him, and grace says that we have no need to be. God wants us. His eyes are on us, and His ears are open to our cries.

If you are surrounded on every side, if you are going under for the last time, shout to Jesus for help. Your desperation may cause you to be blunt. Your despair may cause you to be bold in your request. But even as the cry is torn from the depths of your spirit, He will be there, leaning over with hand outstretched to catch hold of you.

    Blessing

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you be filled with the confidence that He will answer your shout for help. He sees you and hears your cry. He will come to your rescue.
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

    What a wonderful message.
I truly believe we need to get back to basics.

    Get right with the Lord.
    Get back to the land.
Get back to thinking like our forefathers thought.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you
and give you His peace. Let all of the earth – all of His creation – worship and praise His name! Make His
    praise glorious!

What a great read and one we need to remember.....when we get overwhelmed all we have to do is hand it over to Jesus who can overcome the problems we are powerless to solve!
When guns are outlawed only criminals and the government will have them and at that time I will see very little difference in either!

"Within the covers of the Bible are the answers for all the problems man faces." President Ronald Reagan

"We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the law breaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is acoutable for his actions." Presdent Ronald Reagan
