Here's one I've owned for quite some time. It's a Stevens 368 full length scope, with long eye relief. Mounted on my Ballard #3 that was re-bored, and chambered in .25 Stevens Long by J. Stevens Arms. Guessing the scope was likely purchased and added at the same time.
The Stevens rollstamp, and caliber markings were put underneath the forearm on the barrel. Likely at the request of the customer, as I usually see these markings where they're easily seen.
Another old scope mounted on my Remington #1 Rolling Block in .22LR. This scope is a very rare 1st year Unertl with 2 digit serial number.
A really early JW Fecker before Fecker was making his own mounts, and bought mounts from Lyman. It's on my Ballard scheutzen rifle with Stevens-Pope barrel.
