    Passing of Whitetail

    This is Mrs Whitetail. I know Ron checked and contributed to this board often for over 15 years, so I wanted to let you all know that he passed peacefully on Saturday Sept 2. He had pancreatic cancer for 18 months, and while it is usually a very slow and painful process, I take comfort that he was in the woods Friday, was stricken with a complication at 10pm Friday night, and passed at 1:23 pm on Saturday. We were blessed in the way the end played out. Thank you all. I am not going to be logging back in (took me long enough to figure out how to navigate this board). Love, Peace, Boolits.

    rest in peace whitetail. reading this to me is just a reminder that I won't last forever and part of living is dying. but in the mean time live my life to the fullest possible and do what I can when I can.

    I'm sure he's at peace now without pain waiting for you to rejoin him in the fullness of time. I lost my wife and hunting partner a year ago and I still look for her to come down the hall. May the Lord bless you and give you comfort and peace. My prayers are with you. Gray Fox
