?? Alcohol based ?? spray paint for camouflage?

Many years ago, while I still had a bow, and was deer-hunting with it. I was given some special spray paint, that I believe was alcohol based, and the earth colors came out very nice and flat. When I sold that bow, I just wiped it down with alcohol, and it all came off, nice and neat, without wrecking original finish.
I have the need to do my old Mossberg , for this fall, and I would like to figure out, just what that paint was, as I don’t want to put permanent paints or tape on it.
If I recall, I think it wasn’t a paint that was marketed as a gun/ bow paint, it was some sort of arts n crafts stuff, in those small spray cans.
I can’t find anything like it, on google…. Anyone out there use something similar?
If I need to, I’m considering trying the Rustoleum Peel Coat, in matte graphite, then doing camo on top of that, with whatever paint I want….. it all should peel off together, no?
    Just because it’s a bad idea…
    …. Doesn’t mean it won’t be a good time !

I think it's Krylon that makes camouflage colors in spray cans. Some specifically for plastics.
Whatever ya use, really clean the surface with something harsh like carb. cleaner first.
Then it'll stick as well as it can.
Thicker is not better. Once it covers- you're done. The thicker it is, the easier it will chip.
Any of the spray can stuff will come off with a harsh solvent. Some even with gasoline.

I just found out, that the paint I was asking about, was called “ Bow Flage “ and that it is no longer available.

Thanks Winger, but I am resisting the permanent sprays, for now.

Does anyone know of a paint similar to “Bow Flage” ?
