This will probably work better and keep you out of trouble with the site administrators if you post your request below on the “Swappin’ and Sellin’ “ pages of the Forum.

PS Just noticed you’re a new member with just a few posts. You’ll need to hang around and join some discussions to accumulate sufficient posts to gain access to S&S. Sorry I missed that.

Well, I don't know about that.
Size 300 cases in a press, then do the same with the whack-a-mole and get back to me.
For me, where the Lee Loader shines is in load development at the range, where you try different loads in your primed, sized and flared cases. This is especially handy when you are experimenting with an untried powder/bullet/boolit combination that your rifle may or may not like. Dragging a box of cartridges 35 miles home to break them down when you discover that your gun hates the sight of them is a matter best avoided.

Lee loaders fill a niche, even the "knee squeezer"! You don't always need the most expensive tool to do a one time job.

Hey rintinglen, didn’t mean to ignore. My method is sort of hybrid. When I have very many cases of a single caliber to reload by whatever means, I usually start by “pre-processing” all of them on a bench press with a carbide sizer and decapper. Then I load batches of finished rounds by whatever means seems appropriate at the time. Having all this reloading gear in my basement is both a blessing AND a curse sometimes!

A Lee loader is what got me started metallic cartridges, back in 1980 or 1981. Used it long enough to get 1-3/4" groups at 100 yds with my .308. I figured that was good enough, since I lived in a shotgun only zone for deer.

I was hoping that when I clicked to the Lee Loader forum, it would have Michael Jackson singing "JUST BEAT IT!" in the background.

It's what got me started. I'd never willingly go back to it, but RE-SPECT.

You guys do realize that the Lee loader forum isn’t a forum just about lee loaders correct? It’s a Lee precision forum the covers all aspects of Lee precision equipment and handloading! You know like Cast Boolets just isn’t about Cast Boolets!

I like the concept of the LeeLoader

I decided I would try to get one, or two, per rifle
one for cast, one for full length gas checks

I found in my inventory a few I didn't need anymore (225Win) and collectors wanted them.... so sold some, traded some

Some are rare, but with the LL in hand, I will be trying to replicate the ones I can no longer get

I DO have a couple TargetZeroError ones. one in 222Rem, 243, and one other... escapes me at the moment.

I think I can use the 222Rem to ream out 223Rem brass to make them fit better for cast.

AND I have a tight necked 222Rem reamer that I plan on using on a 219Savage Hornet to convert.....

Dang, wish I had a lathe!

Well, I joined up. I'd been wanting to some time back, but it was down. I do love certain lee products, the Lee Loader and Hand Press is at the top of the heap.
