    Slow, slow, slow

Yesterday was slow, but today is even slower.
Opening site, logging in, changing screens, reply to PM's, just about everything is slow.
It's the same on both my desktop computers.
    Something going on???

Maybe your system is like me: It only works when it feels like it.
In school: We learn lessons, and are given tests.
In life: We are given tests, and learn lessons.

OK People. Enough of this idle chit-chat.

I've noticed it is slow as well.
I truly believe we need to get back to basics.

    Get right with the Lord.
    Get back to the land.
Get back to thinking like our forefathers thought.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you
and give you His peace. Let all of the earth – all of His creation – worship and praise His name! Make His
    praise glorious!

Been like this for a week or so. Occasionally I get warnings that the site isn't secure also.

Couple of things (or three or four) to do:

    Download and run SPYWARE BLASTER
    Download and run CCLEANER
Download and run AVAST FREE ANTIVIRUS

    At the very least:
Dump cache and browser history through CNTRL-ALT-DELETE

Following these, COLD BOOT (shut down, wait 30-seconds, turn on) your PC.

When I suspect malware or experience slow response, these, like Kaopectate, have kept my PC insulated and regular.

You are also in Hawaii, where The World is laser focused on reading about the fire, hundreds of local residents missing and presumed dead, The US President's visit, etc., so the personal PC bandwidth there is going to be slow until the World shifts focus in the next "Hocus Pocus" news cycle.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.

All good advice, but in this case it’s at the server end.

It's definitely server side, it's happening on all my devices regardless of location and connection.

For sure server side, Youtube loaded in less than a second. Took 30 seconds to load a new page of threads here and about the same to open a thread in a new tab.

Someone messed with the pooch somewhere.

On the plus side after a slow start it picked up and was doing better this morning. TY

Last night my browser would time out waiting. Sometimes I can blame my HughesNet, but there hasn't been ANY weather here at all.......

And all other sites are normal.

I think the powers that be are fighting a hack on this site. I have no Ideal, I do not think our equipment is the problem. Happened to me this morning 2 blue screens and several bumps later all was well. The blue screens were after oh so slow loading. I saw a change in the quick links screens as well.

I've had it time out a few times also.
    I do run a clean/restore up once a month.
    It does sometimes help.
    I believe it's a gooberment conspiracy.
Like the schools, they know kids, these days, have a very short attention span.
If they don't get what they want, NOW!!!!, they just ignore it and and move on.
So gooberment is slowing down any site like this.
The WOKES are also doing it.
Sad times we live in these days.

    Brutal today.

That look on your face, when you shift into 6th gear, but it's not there.

As slow as this may be, it's still faster than my modem was in New Hampshire.

I timed out once, then waited a while before I could get on.
It seems to be getting worse.
I still think it's the gooberments doing.

I just noticed it got fast again.
I wonder that once you log on, and post a few times, it helps to remember who you are???
I closed the site, and went back on and it was still like normal.
    Fast again.
I wonder if the gooberment read my last post, suspecting them of causing the problem????
    They are watching us.
    Be afraid, be very afraid.

So I'm on my other desktop.
Timed out, then took a long time to come up, but couldn't do anything.
Finally it opened the Our Town page.
    Something is going on.

Noticed that if I'm logged on for an hour, things speed up.
    It remembers me.
    Kind of strange.
Never had this happen before on other web sites.

My phone has been working slow for the last two days. Internet signal shows to be good.

Been on for a while now, and it's working fine.
Maybe it's just getting old and has a hard time remembering people on-line.
Happens to me more and more these days.
