Small Lead find should last a day or 2

Small Lead find at the scrape yard 8000 lbs. Very hard lead like 3% + Also found the guy dropping it off. That was the better find. He has 32000 lbs that he will scraped over the next month. Should be interesting thank goodness he has for forklift.

Looking forward to your posting disposal of Excess. Have relied heavily on the Pigs I got from you in the past.

Wow. That is a great find. I usually can find lead in 100 to 300 pound lots, but it is getting much harder to find. Around here wheel weights are unobtainium. My best score was 40 - 22 pound linotype pigs, still have 16 of them and a bunch of muffins. Neighbor worked for a printing company who needed to get rid of their lead and I was only too happy to help them with that.

My avatar is almost a dead ringer for my little buddy Chico. Six pounds of mean that thought he was a Pit Bull. Miss that little guy.

    40000 pounds x 7000 /500 = 560000
Based on a normal range day of 50 rounds of big bullets that would be a little over 30 years of shooting.
That would be approaching 2 million rounds of 9mm. Time to invest in a sub machine gun.
    Good score.
