    Need load 25-06 Ideal #258231 115 gr.

Plain base, flat nose 115 grain cast key holed with Trail Boss loads. 3 of 9 hit the paper at 50 yards.

(Had shotgun pattern with Trail Boss and 120 grain jacketed bullets as well at full range of charges)

Probably needs higher pressure, greater velocity.

Should I try Unique, Red Dot, Reloder 7?
    Charge?

    Thanks

I had good luck with Red Dot with a 90 gr Lyman in the 25-06 back when I tried it.

    Thanks.

I will try to get back when I try some.

Anyone have a starting load for Red Dot in 25-06?

Lyman #3 suggests 10.5 -12.5 grains of Red Dot for a 112 grain boolit. I'd start at 10 grains and work up.

With no disrespect, clearwater, I (maybe just me?) would need MORE info to provide a possible answer. The, albeit few, key-holing challenges I've experienced through the years were diminished by changing the sized diameter of the cast bullet -- generally to be a larger diameter. In my listings for .25-06 Remington, Tite-Group is an oft-listed powder; as is H-4831SC, and IMR-4831. A second manual I have suggests Alliant as a recommended powder choice. Regardless -- good luck. If it were me, I'd slug barrel and check my sizing as a first step.
    Good luck!
