    Barrel Interchange Stevens 44 -> 44 1/2

    Will a 44 barrel fit a 44 1/2 stevens? I don't have a 44 barrel to try, but they seem pretty close on paper.

    De Haas says no.....different thread sizes and pitches ...............incidentally ,De Haas books are a free online read .
