I think my next experiment will be to try "The Load" of 13 grains of Red Dot behind some cast bullets in 308 for range plinking. Anyone had any results with this yet? Any weight boolit seem to work better than others?

One powder I used in that burn rate range is IMR 4350. I usually start at 36 grains.

Today three and a half pounds of IMR 4350 were sold here in my country (Argentina) for 650 dollars.
Win 760 pound is worth 100 dollars. Although now there is nothing at all.
My favorite to try would be the R19...

That's not a military rifle. This thread should be be in favorite cast loads. (Where's the grumpy emoji?)
Spell check doesn't work in Chrome, so if something is spelled wrong, it's just a typo that I missed.

I've got all those items except different brand of primers and lube. I have lots of H414/W760 as I use it a lot in my prairie dog guns.

What is the lead alloy you are using?

BTW my avitar is a 5 shot group at 100 yards my first trip to the range testing 4 different powder charges of H414 in my 220 Swift, Remington 700 after it was rebarreled. It was . 09 inches. Worst group was .25.

been using 13.0 grs. of red dot behind 160 gr. gc cast for decades - very accurate in both my FR8 + remington 788 -

I have tried with 748 and it seemed to me that it is a bit fast for cast.
But you should try again, here the 748 sold very quickly, it is not very sensitive to temperature
