    BSA-Martini-Something in 303

    Well, okay they're both BSA's.

The one I'd like to add to the discussion is the obvious Martini action with the questionable heritage.
I don't have even the slightest problem or issue with it . I even have a nutcracker and dies for it.
The "303" bore even slugs to just over .3125" and as cast 313-314" shoot just fine out a well worn 313 sizer.
Because it hints at a parts and pieces rifle I was skeptical at first. Then about everything I feed it goes where I point it.
I'll get a real photo essay up because there are enough of you greybeards here that we may be able to track down some of the origin.
The action itself looks like it was loved on by someone that cared. The trigger is excellent.
The wood and the pre-blued polish lack a bit leaving it about a 6 of ten.
In my accounting though if it performs as flawless as this I'm going to keep smiling.

The other BSA in that case is a CF2 in .270, an old and dear friend.

The rest of it you can guess at

Mk IV "Long Lever" action, probably fitted with a Lee Enfield barrel at some point.

Pocket pistol a Schmeisser 25 by chance?
Rights, and Privileges, are not synonymous. We have the Right to Bear Arms. As soon as the Government mandates firearm registration, and permiting, then that Right becomes a Privilege, and may be taken away at our Master's discretion.

The Martini's are just loverly toys! I have a few originals in 303 and 577/450 as well as sporters in 40/65 (with Badger barrel) and a 577 'Super' snider with a new Walther barrel.

One of my 303's is 1895

Toys?! I hunt feral hogs with my 1895! Haven't had one argue, as yet...
Have been kicking around the notion of trying my MkII 577/450, but haven't worked up the courage, yet.

Oh, I have fired the beast. Just not sure I want to take it hunting.

    B A Wallace's 577 Super intrigues me!

BA, you are making my fingers itch, again! Not too sure what I am that mad at, but I like that round of yours!
Local pawn shop has a MkII smooth bore for a decent price: would make a good project gun...

So, what is the case length on the Super?

2" Large rifle primed 24ga Magtec brass shot shell, go to the rifle range and after a couple of rounds, shooters are like bees around a honey pot!
