Wife and I watched it a couple of days ago. Very powerful movie, shows how depraved the world is around us. There is a lot of money being made by people involved in the child trafficking arena.

The people who need to see it will skip it.
I predict it will never be on cable. Two hours TL;DR

Sound of Freedom is not political.
We know this story already.
Movie is about horrible evil,
the good guy wins one small fight.
Based on a true story.

Disney acquired the movie 2018 but didn't release it.
So the producer bought it back
has made $40 million so far.
(Why would Disney suppress a movie about child exploitation?)

Movie is PG only kills one bad guy, tells story very well.
Good story of a hero. He gets to say
"...a millstone around your neck..."

Movie skips the obvious point:
As long as we have dirty men
buying this dirty product
the dirty money will provide the product.
Selling children into slavery.

One review said it was like trying to make "Schindler's List" in Germany in 1940.

The Wife and I saw it yesterday. It is not action packed but mostly slow moving and dark. Maybe we need a light on the subject. Most of the couples there were older, sort looked like the type you could be friends with, didn't surprise me.

I don't think it's political, this subject is far above that.

My wife and I went to see it the other day.

Hard to describe all the emotion I felt while viewing it - sadness . . . sorrow . . . . admit a few tears down there cheeks . . . but most of all . . . and very uncommon for me, rage.

We ALL know child trafficking is occurring EVERYDAY in OUR COUNTRY and around the world. Sorry . . . but I WILL get political. What is there now . . . . something like well over 80,000 children that have come across our southern border now, that this current corrupt Administration has NO IDEA of where these children are? NOR DO THEIR CARE!

But this isn't just a Socialist Democrat thing . . . . it's a Republican thing as well. Washington DC DOES NOT CARE . . . if the did, the border would be closed, there would have been Immigration Reform long ago and every effort made to shut the human trafficking down an put those people involved in it away forever.

Human trafficking cannot exist without a demand for it. Kind of odd isn't it, that the list of Epstein's clients who liked young girls has never been made public? We know Clinton was one of his "clients". How many of those sitting in Congress and holding high government jobs also are om that list? The other day, during the whistleblower testimony, several black politicians ranted about the two tiered justice system was actually the discrimination against the blacks, and of course all of the "systemic racism". They want reparations for "slavery" - YET - none of these self-serving loud mouth Far Left individuals are speaking out against the human trafficking or actually doing anything to put a stop to it all. And so it goes on and on and on . . .

EVERY decent human being needs to speak out on this . . . put pressure on your elected officials AND MAKE YOUR VOICE LOUD AND CLEAR at the ballot box.

If you have viewed this movie . . . PLEASE . . . tell others about it and encourage them to see it. If you haven't seen it . . . PLEARE DO SO.

This is not a movie to be watched and then move on and forget it. It is a movie aimed at waking up people to a major serious problem that ahhects every decent person in the world.

Maybe the emotion of "rage" is a "good thing" at times . . . .

Why does one need a movie to be informed about a practice that has been ongoing for hundreds of years and was implemented BEFORE political groups (e.g. parties)?

My wife and I saw it several days ago. It is hard to watch at times but it will touch your heart. A few days before that we watched Transformers and it was like going out to eat and forgetting what I had the next day (compared to Sound Of Freedom). I didn't understand the name till it hit me near the end, they could act like kids again. It shakes me up to think about it.
There's a price to pay for people that do this and it's bigger than what a mortal can inflict.

My wife and I went to see it last weekend. I agree with bedbugbilly and others 100%. A lot
( not all ) of the participants and financiers, government officials of the drug and sex trafficking know exactly what's going on, know others that support it, and are not going to do anything about it. This world has turned itself into a Sodom and Gamora cesspool. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are coming and They are really mad.

trebor44 - the answer to that is simple . . you shouldn't. Especially in these days when there is all kinds of social media . . but let's not forget something . . censorship.

Where our place is in Arizona, we are 45 miles north of the border. WE are certainly aware of what goes on down there . . . but, when I come back to Michigan for the summer and visit with others, MOST do not have a clue of what is going on down there . . . because the media they expose themselves to NEVER REPORTS IT. And who is responsible for that?

You will get no argument from me that this has been going on forever . . . .and before political groups . . . but in today's world, it is going on because it is allowed to exist by all of our political groups who have the power to stop it but won't. This isn't a white black, brown, yellow purple or poke s dot issue . . . it is a HUMAN issue involving not only our country, but the world. You can question why people should already be aware of the issue and mot need a movie to bring it to light . . . . and I agree, but, we have people in our country that can't even name their representatives in Congress and have never even bothered to read the Constitution.

The Cartels are real, the open border is real, the thousands and thousands of people coming into the country is real and the thousands of men, women and children that are a part of the human trafficking are very real. Every taxpayer in this country is paying for the buss and the flights that take place in the night to transport these people to communities all across our country where our government has no idea of their true identities and where they will end up and they have no idea of how many "got aways" that make it across the border. This Administration and all of the politicians in Washington are complicit in what is going on because they refuse to put a halt to it.

So if this movie helps bring this issue to a head where people will demand that something be done, it will have served its purpose and if it educates those that are not aware of it . . . . it will have served its purpose. People have a choice in life . . . they can either get involved or they can turn their backs and ignore an issue, thinking that it does not involve them and that they can do nothing about it. Somehow, they can justify it by saying it has always happened so it will always happen . . . so they turn their backs on it, UNTIL it affects them . . . an if they think their child or grandchild will never be a victim, they had better wake up because kids get snatched off the street everyday in this country. Pedaphiles used to be the lowest form of life . . . but just take a look at the indoctrination that has ramped up in the schools since the Left gained power and the sexual indoctrination that is going on starting in grades as low as Kindergarten . . . in the old days, this would be called "grooming" the children but today it's called "public education".

So yea . . . it has been going on for centuries and people should be aware it is still going on . . . . and no, it shouldn't take a movie to make them aware of it . . . but that prompts me to ask a question aimed at no one in in particular . . . "what are you going to do about it?" Be part of the solution . . . or forget about it and turn you back and ignore it and not demand that at stop be put to it? This is a leadership problem which is a political problem perpetuated by BOTH parties who are elected in a Democratic Society to follow the will of the people they represent . . . . and unfortunately, they all are doing a crappy job of doing anything because it has become a self-serving circus.
