Might have to build a mortar, we can still get away with it here in rural Nebraska. Or shoot in in my brother's Browning .45-70? My Grandson and I will enjoy shooting it up! Don't just shoot it up , that is the best powder you will ever find and it's very hard to come by. I keep mine for hunting. The Fg will work fine in .50 cal and up just like it sets , no grinding needed. I almost cried when Dupont got out of the black powder business , the replacements were never as good. If we were within driving distance I would trade you Goex or Graf 2 for 1 for the Dupont. Savor it , dont shoot it up !

Fg is perfectly good in muskets and black powder cartridge rifles.

The garage sales that I have went to around here doesn't have great finds like that, or maybe someone else "found" them first.http://castboolits.gunloads.com/imag...s/banghead.gif
