    Smokes clear

I have powder coated In the past but it's been a while. Read some post about "Smokes clear" how well it works. It may be in the stickies but I can't find it. Was wondering if someone would be generous enough to share the link where it could be found. Thanks hi

I can vouch for Smoke's Clear PC.

It works great! I really like it. Looks like white powdered sugar when applied, and then bakes-on in a smooth clear coat.

(All of Smoke's pc colors are good)

Called "Super Durable Clear" on his list. Goes on white melts clear.

It's the only powder I use for my rifles. Very consistent in thickness.

Finally got good powder and tried the Clear today. Worked great as did a couple other colors in addition to no color.

I also had some .44 SWC that I bought years ago when hoping for a gun in that caliber. Carrol bullets. I boiled and reboiled with Dawn, 55 of them and dumped some acetone on them. After some time with a fan they coated blue extremely nicely.

Yes, I use it too. Played with a number of colors from Smoke and Eastwood with good but sometimes varying results. Super Durable Clear from Smoke is now my default powder. Virtually foolproof.

I use this Crystal Clear Super Durable High Gloss Clear Powder from powder by the pound.
    Works real well!
