Again, I Come Seeking Guidance and Knowledge: Aluminum Mould Cleaning and Resurection

I recently acquired a Rapine 319125 mold. It seems that in its former life it had been exposed to a bit too much water.

The bullet surface appears to be in serviceable condition, however the balance of the surfaces have a bad case of aluminum cancer (white and darkish grey corrosion).

I am very practiced in corrosion control and repair on aircraft structures, but I am not certain these methods would be conducive to the longevity of an accurate casting of a bullet mold. What can I do to restore this mold without damaging the molding surfaces?
Rights, and Privileges, are not synonymous. We have the Right to Bear Arms. As soon as the Government mandates firearm registration, and permiting, then that Right becomes a Privilege, and may be taken away at our Master's discretion.

Had a similar question a while ago on a Lee 6 cav. My final decision was more or less if the bearing surfaces clean up in the size die its probably better to leave it as is.
