    What do I have?

I was going through some lead a friend gave me. I found two 5 pound ingots marked Sn5, Sb14.75, Pb80.25. Pencil test shows harder than 26-28. 2H pencil slides and 3H digs in.
Also found 8 1 pound bars if 50/50 solder.Click image for larger version.

    80% Lead
    5% Tin
    14.75% Antimony

I'd use it sparingly to harder pure Lead.

Sb has Antimony in it or is Antimony, but if pure Antimony it would be very hard. Sn is tin and Pb is lead. With that said then the numbers are telling the ratio of whatever it's blended with.

I knew the symbols even though I spent most of my time in chemistry class playing Euchre. Would it have been used for making type or something similar?

if you look at the third chart on this page
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_metal
there is one stereotype and Monotype A that fits those percentages, and claims 23 BHN
