Finally a day without rain. Got some stuff done

Finally got a nice day without rain. Changed the oil in the wife's car and rotated the tires. Dug out the grey water mulch pit and put in new mulch. Built an a frame for the cukes to climb this summer. Dry rubbed some chicken breasts and put them on the smoker then adjusted the deck on the riding mower and mowed the lawn. Dug up some small rutabagas to go with the chicken and replanted the tops for later then pressure washed the car. Finally cleaned the seats in the semi and opened the windows to let them dry for tomorrow.
Nice to have weather after all the rain to let us get some stuff done. So much rain this spring

We haven't had rain for over a week, and the forecast is not calling for rain for almost another week. Which, I'm glad, cuz both my mowers are down, hopefully I can get one repaired this coming week

Just drilled bermuda grass in the pasture last week....and barely a drop since. I'd LOVE to have some rain!!!

Been over a month that we had a good solid rain. My grass smells of hay now and the garden sucks up what ever water I lay down

My location of East TN. has been dry for about a month. Neighbors have stopped mowing their yards and the grass is turning brown. Have to manually water the tiny garden just to keep it alive but forecast for this week is a few days of rain. Thank you, Mother Nature, for the drink.
