    RCBS "RS" press question.

I just refurbed one of these. With the press mounted to a level surface the handle drops. Is this how it's supposed to be?

    I don't think so.

Did you put that leverage thing the handle screws into on backwards?

I'd go to Midway or Amazon to see a picture of one and double check to see it it was put back together right.

The handle on my Reloader Special (RS) stays up. I think Winger has the solution.

Thanks for the replies. The linkage is assembled correctly. One more question. When I took the thing apart, I only saw a wave washer on one side. Should there be 2? One on each side? Would that help hold the handle in the up position?

Do a quickie search for "Parts Books- RCBS" or the RCBS home page

It'll take you to the RCBS site where they offer exploded views of all their stuff as a free download.

Winger Ed. - I do appreciate that buddy. I had the wave washer on the left side. The exploded view showed it to be on the right side. Once I put it on the right side the handle stays up just fine.

I think it came out pretty good. I don't have a before pic., but it was covered in rust and locked up tighter than dick's hat band. It was a fun little project.
