    powder measure?

Hey Guys..... Anyone here use the Lee Pro disk powder measure and how does it work out for you?
I have the old Lee disk with the square hopper but changing the disks is a PITA. Getting harder all
the time pulling that spring and trying to hook it in the notch. Any replies are appreciated.

I much preferred the Lee auto drum measure. Can't get it to either not leak or bind up with h110 but being able to fine tune drop weights was what I wanted. Get one measure and multiple drums and keep a drum for each load so you don't have to re set up, just verify the drop and go

You don’t have to remove the spring. Just empty the hopper and remove it from the base by taking out the two screws. Be careful not to overtighten, as you can damage the hopper.

Yea, You know how long the flimsy plastic hopper would last?
I don't think the screw holes would take that kind of abuse.

I have the drum measure and it works very well, but I hate having to fiddle with the settings all the time.
I can't seem to get the setting to stay put. It works great with 231 or titegroup but some of the other
powders just seem to drift on me. I have the set of extra drums.

Mine are still OK after 40+ years of reloading. I have probably removed them 1000 times.

The Lee Pro Disk measure looks like a winner. All you have to do is remove the 2 thumb screws
and remove the hopper. Looks to be very fast.

I have one of those too. Not very impressed with how the spring is mounted but so far it seems to work fine. I like the ability to turn off the powder feed.

I use the pro autodisk and love it. I also have and use a saftydisk (same as an autodisk except it’s bench mounted). I converted both to the pro version because the pro let’s you turn off the hopper and emptying the pro is a lot easier. What spring are you disconnecting?

I just got the drum to believe it or not replace a Dillon powder measure for H110 and 2400 for >15 grain loads. The secret is to file the drum insert a few times and sand it down till smooth. I also hit the inside of the drum with steel wool. It does not leak with H110 powder and dumps with in .1 grains of the charge weight. Plastic hoppers suck, but it works very well. I was most happy with a uniflow and case activated powder attachment, but those are $$ and are a pain to change out neck flaring powder thru inserts. At $40 its hard to beat the Lee auto drum.

    Totally agree.

The hopper my auto disk has been removed countless times over the years and is still going strong.
