Is there such thing as a reasonably priced xrf analyzer?

I did a cursory look and I guess the answer is hell no, but I figure I would ask anyways.

Five figures for the hand held versions like Nyton when last I looked a couple years back.

Are you anywhere close to a metals recycler? They usually have one and may “gun” samples for you if you are a regular customer, or maybe if you offer something in the way of an friendly incentive like food or drinks.

There is a used one on Ebay, currently at $2700, ending in 5 hours.
Spell check doesn't work in Chrome, so if something is spelled wrong, it's just a typo that I missed.

A year or so ago I sent samples to a fellow on here who had one, does anybody know who that guy is? I deleted all my PMs.

He needs one pound of lead for each sample. Contact him for instructions how to prepare sample.

As I recall, he wants the sample to be the size of a BB, he accepts payment in the form of lead, 1# per sample.
