    New Lee #1 buckshot mold..........

Just thought I'd let everyone know that Lee is now producing an 18 cavity #1 (.30 cal) mold.

I've casted up about 8lbs so far and tried loading some, works awesome, NO ISSUES. Remind me to NOT provide "samples" to friends.

I'm resisting the urge to order that one because I havent really had time for much casting or shooting lately. But my resistance has been known to weaken at times. Have you tried any 16 pellet 2&3/4" 12 gauge with it? Thinking of an 8 to 10 pellet 20 gauge also.

I've had and used the Lee #00 buckshot mold, it was okay. Now I have a Marty's Mold in .310" on order that will powder coat to .320".
The .45-70 is the only government I trust.

Folks, I'm on my 5th or 6th batch of these .30 buckshot (I tumble 3-4lbs at a time)

I'm loading 12 pieces these in ONLY 2 3/4" with the CB1138-12 wad w/20ga overshot card in the bottom, and Longshot powder. "Samples" I've handed out to friends swear by this handloads at 50 yards.
