    Ammo Identification Help Please

Age is starting to take its toll on my memory. I have some ammo that I cannot remember exactly the details on it. I think it is all 7.62X54R but cannot remember the Country origin. Does anyone recognized these two ammo cans?

Bullet 1 would appear to be 7.62X25 mm pistol/sub gun ammo.

Bullet 2 would appear to be Czech 7.62X54R.

Howdy! I believe the first box is a 800 rounds of 7.62x25 Tokorev and the second is 780 rounds of Czech 7.62x54R Silver Tip.

Guess I need to find my Tokorev pistol. Did not know that I owned a Tokorev pistol!!!! This ammo was bought years ago and was supposed to be 7.52X54R. I guess they shipped the wrong ammo. It appears it may be worth more than a can of 7.62X54R. How's that for a rationalization for not paying attention in the first place?

    Thanks for the information.

What ever it is, it is worth a lot more than you paid for it.

I think you are correct. One can currently listed on Gunbroker for $550 (69 cents per round). Cheapest I see on Ammo Seeker is 46 cents per round. I think I can get my money back.
