Wow- new noe mold in 2 days!

On Saturday afternoon I ordered a new HTC 358-154 rnfp mold, showed up in Tuesday's mail! WOW, I expected an email when it shipped, thought with a big sale, shipping might be delayed? Now I have to get it ready for weekend casting. It doesn't have a very big crimp groove? I my have to measure and trim brass? Or use my taper crimp die., will be plinking loads in .38 Special! I will start heat cycling it tomorrow.

I had trouble logging on to NOE's site on Thursday, so gave them a call, not expecting too get a hold of any one. Well , the owner took the call and I placed my order, and talked about a custom mould I wanted made. Unfortunately they aren't taking custom orders now, but we still had a nice visit about it. I recieved my new .311-214-FN- 5 cav on Monday. I have several NOE moulds and have always been pleased.

Same here, ordered the Eagan mould from Noe on Thursday and was here monday. Cast at .312 instead of the stated .310
I really like that, I can powder coat up for my larger30 calibers or size down. Noe is top notch in my book!

Less and less mold manufacturers are taking special orders now. Is there just too much demand for standard molds today and no time for special orders?
