    K31 Range time

I picked up a K31 a couple of months ago. I finally got a chance to take it to the range. I replaced the rear sight with a scope mount and am using a Bushnell 2x6 pistol scope on it. I used the NOE 30-165 xcb, Lyman 311041, and Lyman 311299 all were 5 shot groups at 50 yards using 16grains of 2400. The wind was rocking the target stand and that may have contributed to the vertical stringing for the 311041 and 311299.

Finally made it back to the range with the K31. Looks like I am going to keep working with the NOE XCB mould and the lyman 311299.
Alliant 2400 is not doing to shabby.

    Hey 7br
I shoot a k31 also. I put the Swiss products sight setup on it.
Had the rifle out yesterday at 100 yards. Noe plain base loads with 7.5 grains of 700x

Did you put the diopter sight set on it? Great group.

I use 2400 in most of my cast rifle loads. My 1911 swiss really likes 19 grains with the Lasercast 170FNGC .310 bullet. I have been working on a load with the 311299 need to get some more target time with that bullet.

    Enjoy the Swiss rifles!

Thanks and yes I did. It's easy to put on and worth it.

My K-31 with an 8x Lyman scope likes the Lyman 311413 at 169 gr over 16.0 gr IMR 4227. Sized .309.

I got back to the range with the k31. I did shoot 1 cast group, so I don't feel bad about posting here. I am working on hunting loads with Hornady eld-x 178 gr bullets and H4350. The 2 shot group was for sighting in. I may use it as a backup for deer season.

Great groups from everybody. I use GP11 ammo and always marvel at how accurate these rifles are.
