I could use some drawings and or dimensions of hinging a 98 Mauser floor plate. I know the procedure but I have only 1 trigger guard left and I don't want to mess it up! How did you do it?

I have built close to 50 of those magazines with the hinged floor plate and the side swing lever release.
I am sorry.
But for some reason I can not post pictures that I have on this forum.
There are no specific measurements that I used , and I built my first ones from a picture in a magazine.
But if you PM me a phone number, I can text you the pictures that I have on my phone.
I have sold all the rifles that I did this on.
And it was very popular on the custom rifles that I built for myself over the years when I decided to sell them .

"mauser 98 hinged floor plate plans" is the search term I used to find the above.
Spell check doesn't work in Chrome, so if something is spelled wrong, it's just a typo that I missed.
Im just about to hinge an original 98 floor plate too - already has the lever fitted. Would love some dimensions too… I had a bookmark with a great write up but can’t find it

This is a picture of one of the Mausers I built with the hinged floorplate
Again.
The picture won't come thru.
I finally got them to post

Sounds frustrating- sounds like cooperlake is prepared to help you getting the pictures up though. Thanks guys.
This is the link I was looking for https://www.sporterizing.com/index.p...-a-floorplate/
Now I lay me down to sleep
A gun beside me is what I keep
If I awake, and you're inside
The coroner's van is your next ride
Thank you Pietro.
That is almost the same way I do mine.
Except I make the side swing latch similar to the custom Mausers built back between the wars.
I wish they had computers and internet back when I started my gunsmithing.
That easy accessed info is a good way to learn and actually do the work yourself.
As you can see,
I did get my computer to post a picture.
But it only will post pictures I already had downloaded into the attachment management.
Now to work on getting pictures in my computer to post or be able to download pictures from my phone to computer.

Just doing this at the moment. After studying photos of Type B Oberndorfs, I cut the slot:
Cleaned it up and cut it to an angle to allow for the hinge to pivot forward
Made the hinge from some 5/16” skyway beaten down a bit to be a shade under 3/8” wide
I held it in place while I drilled the pivot hole. 2.5mm because I had a snapped bit to use as a pin
Ready for MIG welding
welded
Cleaned up with files. Need to bring the emery paper in now
Extended the back side as a stop so it doesn’t over extend
