I'm late to the dance, but for my money, the top choice is the 311-316, ~115 grain, gc. I have not found any other boolit that is more accurate from my Browning 53. I also like the RCBS 32-98 SWC, especially for plinking, but the heavier bullet is a scootch more accurate.

I guess I should rethink my specs for an “all around” bullet in this weight range for 32s to include a proper crimp groove. My comment re the crimp groove was based on the writings of “Outpost75” who called it to our attention several years ago. To be perfectly honest, I’ve neglected my 32-20s way too long in favor of the straight side 32 case family. I really need to get back to the 32-20, and one of the members here is working with me on a trade to replenish my supply of 32-20 brass, since it’s become unobtainium around here lately.

PS Several years ago my friend “Beagle” introduced me to the now discontinued Lyman 313631 mould, designed for the 32 H&R. While about 8% lighter than the 3118, this bullet should be a great performer in the 32-20… and I had promised myself not to buy any more moulds for a while!
The 311008 bullets don't get set back from firing. 3gr of bullseye is hardly much. They get pushed into the case from the spring pressure in the magazine of a lever action rifle. The saeco bullet has a good crimp groove and a short nose that functions in everything I shoot. Mike venturino did an article in handloader mag a couple issues ago on reloading the 32wcf for a colt saa. He mentions several different bullets from different molds and noted that most would not function in a lever gun. I text him info on the saeco mold.
