Show us your S&W Model 15s and 67s

Here's a lightly used S&W 15-3 that I've had for about 20 years that I'm finally going to get to the range soon.

I plan to start feeding this revolver a large quantity of loads with various 158gr classic boolits.

I suspect OS OK may approve of this revolver.

Flower mound? I haven't been there in a couple years, but back then it was getting pretty crowded.
I'll be there ain't enough room to swing a cat now.

    Anyway:
You need to get out there pretty soon.

Beautiful revolver, TXTad. I don't know about OS OK, but I highly approve! A S&W Mod. 15 is just about the zenith of self defense revolvers. I just bought it's forerunner, a Militay & Police model from about 1948, close to new condition. To improve it you'd add adjustable sights and have a Mod. 15!

I've been here since I was 11 in 1978. I know it is well past time to get out. I'm working on it, but not in earnest. Once my son is out of high school in a few years, then I'll get gone for sure.

BEAUTIFUL! Love the grips! I bought a 15-5 two years ago, have Thai finger grips on mine. Absolutely love shooting mine! Now I want another, maybe 6" Model 14, or maybe a 36 Chiefs Special! Falling in love with the K-frames! Thanks for sharing, hc18flyer

Yeah, I lived in Farmers Branch until I retired about 6 years ago.
It's all packed in like sardines in a can now too.

A life long friend lived there and he was always pointing out new apartment complexes being built.
    He called them 'Yuppie Ghettos'.

My old LE service revolver from '74, a S&W M15 w/5" barrel. I've literally put thousands of rounds through it. Used it a few days ago to test the Lee Pistol Rest (with a couple mods I made to it). Put 18 rounds of old (probably as old as the revolver) Remington Target Master WCs in a 1.95" wide x3 .25" vertical group at 50 yards. She still shoots!

I drove through Flower Mound the other day on my way to Scheels in The Colony. That’s two insanely crowded cities that I remember as little towns long ago.
Texas will out populate California any minute now.
Beautiful revolver there, Sir. The M15 is my all time favorite S&W handgun. It’s just perfect in every way IMO.

Thats a beautiful revolver. I have a really nice one but it doesnt have a model number on it. It was made in the 50s, I think it was called a combat masterpiece.

I always like the 5" guns. Sadly, I only have two: a 1989 625 and a 28 that was converted to .44 Magnum. It came with a MagNaPorted 6" barrel. I didn't figure a .44 Mag really needed the ports, so I had it cut to 5". I only load light magnum loads for it.

    Thank you!

Yes, Texas is growing. Too fast and not everyone coming here gets it. Sadly.

The time is getting closer. I'm almost done with this semester. I then just have a capstone in June and I'm finally done with my undergrad degree after only 38 years.

    That they are!

Do you know Bob Rhoads? He's a long time friend who I haven't seen in a while, but he lives in Farmers Branch. He's an avid, maybe even rabid, hunter.

    Thank you!

Hogues and VZ both fit me very well.

The larger factory S&W stocks are just way too blocky, while the smaller ones are not made for human hands.

TXTad, that's a sock drawer gun if I ever saw one. I lost mine to a car thief along with a 73 Cutlass and you just reminded me of why I need another one!

It sure is! I have a few like this, including a 1958 Colt Official Police that I believe has never been fired since it left the factory. I'll fix that soon.
