FX Maverick VP in .22 cal

Tested the fx at 25, 50, and 75 yards today and it was good! It was windy so there were no groups to brag about but the power was right where it needed to be. When the wind slow down enough, I was able to put 4 out of 5 shots,at 50 yards, in a small ragged hole. As soon as the wind came back, the fifth shot stray an almost an inch away from the group.
I am still a happy camper!

Heads up on Hard Pelican Gun Style Cases : I saw some well made ones at Harbor Freight yesterday. Several sizes and the largest one was $139 It had rollers on one end and was built like a tank. Various colors as well.

    Worth a look!

I have one similar to the pelican case. I needed to take one of my hunting rifles to argentina. Unfortunately, I cut out with my pocket knife the foam that is to hold the gun without rolling when handled by the airline. When I came back, the cutout I did was so messed up that I decided to throw away to “replace it later” and I forgot. I need to find a new piece of foam to cut it in the shape of the fx maverick.
I will check anyway harbor freight just in case.
    Thanks.
