    One of a kind

    I recently finished making my second and last rifle. It's a break action .25-20 WCF that I made from a block of 1144 Stress-proof I salvaged out of the scrap bin at the machine shop where I worked about 50 years ago. I bought a barrel blank from Gun Parts Corp. and made the rest.

My eyes are good for distance, but the sights were real fuzzy. I'll try again with my reading glasses and see if I can do better.

    Here's a group shot at 25 yards with the iron sights. I had trouble discerning the tops of the front and rear sights. Haven't thought of an excuse for the flier... .
