BCA to sell ARs in 30-06 and 300 win mag

BCA, Bear Creek Arsenal say that they:
We will be launching our Huntmaster Line with 2 calibers that a lot of our customers have been excited about ever since “Shot Show.”

    300 Win Mag | .30-06
I will not likely be buying one myself, but it does look like an interesting offering. The big hang up is the lack of quality control that BCA products have shown in the past.
    Price point is not mentioned.

    Interesting. . .

One major peeve I've had with the industry in recent years is the tendency for manufacturers to go from .308 to belted magnums, skipping over what I consider to be the "Goldilocks" long action / .473" bolt face rounds.

My HOPE would be that they've made the magazines long enough stretched COAL's for modern bullets with plastic nose caps.
    WWJMBD?

From my 80 year old perspective, that sure looks like a big, heavy rifle. For the semi-auto feature I think I'd just as soon have my M14-SA in .308, and otherwise a nice bolt action.

I'd just as soon have a BAR clone!
Old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway!

Only almost 68, and for a 30-06, I think I'd at least like to try it...

A friend had a Nemo AR10 style .300 Win Mag.
    He liked it a lot.
To me, it was very impressive but not something that I want to carry at all.
Other than looks, the BAR produced the same thoughts from my mind.

A shorter quick handling one of those might be quite welcome in AK bear country!
    Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer?
