    WTT for Lee Bator Boolits

I would like to trade for some of the classic style Lee Bator boolits. These are the stubby round nose with two lube grooves.

I have the newer C225-55-RF which is a much longer boolit. They call it the "Bator" but it is much different than the original.

For trade I can offer two interesting boolits.

One is the MP 227640 "Hornet":

This is a 39 gr plain base 22 cal with two lube grooves. I can cast it from wheel weights either water dropped or air cooled. Casts .227 diameter, easily sized down as needed. I will be trading the flat points and not the hollow points.

The second is the MP 45-70 "collar button."

This is a 153 gr reduced load bullet from MP. It has one very large "lube groove" but I have had success tumble lubing them. They shoot very nicely at 25 yards with a light load of fast pistol powder, for instance 6.8 gr Titegroup. Drops .462 diameter. Sized, this boolit would be good for other 45 calibers, though I have only used it in 45-70.

I can also trade plain ole "new" Lee-Midsouth Bator boolits. 55 gr with one lube groove and a gas check shank. I figured I would offer the more interesting boolits first though.

Probably 50 of these should do me. We can trade 1 for 1 I am not concerned about weight difference. Would like to give the classic Bator a try. Been interested in it for a long time but just stumbled upon the Boolit Exchange subforum.
