Up for sale, a Lyman #375167 that I never got around to.
$65 plus shipping.
The particulars...
The real short hole for that long hollow point pin is worn and it gives the pin some wiggle. For long range I'd probably use a shortened nail and for open sight hunting use it the way it is.
The blocks have no wiggle as I've slightly extended the alignment pins to exert their authority and also tapped the blocks together to get consistent face to face fit (no high corners).
Installed a wave washer and a hex head set screw. I compressed the sprue plate against the blocks to cast samples and think it will work best done that way.
Cast from soft lead my dial calipers show:
Nose in front of 1st band = 0.361" diameter
1st (front) band = 0.378"
2nd band = 0.3775"
3rd band = 0.377"
4th (base) band = 0.378"
Weight in soft lead = 267 grains.
Nose length in front of 1st band = 0.56"
Groove diameter bearing length = 0.505"
Hollow point diameter = 0.10" tapered down to 0.08"
Hollow point depth = 0.74"
