    Midway has small rifle primers

For those seeking small rifle primers, I just (3/22/2023: 11:40NDT) received an eMail from MidwayUSA indicating they have Federal Small Rifle primers in stock, and available for purchase at $104.95 USD per carton! They write it works out to a US dime -- ten cents -- per primer. (I ordered a carton!) Click image for larger version.

Looks as they have fed # 100 small pistol primers as well. $104 per 1000, If the price drops a bit and still there I will buy both. Federal primers not my favorite.

Must be something about Federal primers! LGS has spp and srp in stock. Srp are $103.95 ,plus the 9.75% local sales tax! So, maybe their coming back a little! Spp were the #200 magnum primers.
Local Academy had fed.200 spp for $7.99 a hundred , no limits last time I was there. $87 and change for 1k.
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!

Midway just sent me my notification that primers were in stock. With Hazmat, shipping, and sales tax they were $137 to my door. I passed. I’m a long way from being out of primers, I can wait.

That's $69.00 LESS than my LGS!

Midway has over the last month been sending me notices of primers in stock, at 8-12 cent a primer plus hazmat and shipping. I am gambling that the prices will start to come down. At least maybe midway will allow the purchase of 5,000 at a go for the same hazmat price for 1000.
What could spoil it would be the Ukraine induced ammo shortage.

I hate those HUGE Federal boxes. jd
It seems that people who do almost nothing, often complain loudly when it's time to do it.

It is Vista Outdoors that owns everything almost it seems
Vista Outdoor is the parent company to many ammunition makers, including Federal, CCI, and Remington.

Due to the price of primers, warning shots will no longer be given!
