I picked this up off a gun show table because it was shiny, cheap, and interesting (a perfect trifecta!). I have no idea what it is, when or who made it or what its used for. Any ideas?
The bottom is marked 52 and 11 1/2. The rim diameter of the bottom cutout is .61, the edge ahead of it is .538. The overall length of the tool is 3.275.
Looks like an oilier for watches or instruments. each section should come apart and a different oil or lube in each one.
To me it looks like some form of straight line bullet seater. Is the hole at the top .52 caliber? The rim recess appears large and deep, and for some odd case like the old Maynard calibers. The number 11 1/2 is a mystery to me.

As it says, caliber 11.5x52R not that hard to read the numbers
The .61 cutout would fit 45-70 .608 rim diameter
Above rim recess .538 would also fit for a 45-70, clearance, the rim will guide it.
I suspect It could be for a 45-70, althoug 1mm short, or for a shorter 45 cal. like the Danish Remington.
Measure the cylindrical bullet diameter-hole part.
