    22LR Tumbler Screen

Made this the other day and it works well. It’s .05” aluminum with .125 holes. Waterjet cut a 4.660” diameter piece. Problem fixed.

How many pins feel through when draining it, shaking it up, and then draining it again.

How many of the pins stayed in the tumbler and came out when I used the media separator.

I am trying to separate pins from brass right now. Takes forever with the magnet. I like your screen idea.

The best media separator, in my opinion, is the Dillon CM-500. It won’t let 22LR brass fall through. I just add water up to within a few inches from the top and The water helps pull the pins out of the brass. Works every time.

I had to try your water a few inches from the top idea on my Dillon separator. Worked like a charm. It's funny all the little tweaks to find or hear about over the years that makes you wonder what other little things you could be doing instead.
