    to hp or not?

Ok I know this has been gone over and over and over
but I have a mold that has a very small meplat for a muzzleloader (40-290SG Accurate)
    https://www.accuratemolds.com/bullet...ullet=40-290SG,
At any rate I am considering getting it hp'd
do you think this is really going to aid in bullet expansion?, given the correct alloy of course.
My velocity will be over 2000 f.p.s and less than 2400 f.p.s
Or would the bullet take care of itself with the smallish meplat?

I rarely use HP anymore...just don't like the fussy-ness between FPS and Alloy etc.. Even a small meplat is devastating on our Critters...
Even a Fast moving RN will smoke lesser critters...upends them...hydrostatic maybe IDK...or they are wussys!!!
