Cylinder reaming and forcing cone Chamfererd

This is my first post so please bare with me . I was wanting to know how to go about getting my 357 and 44 magnums cylinder reamed out to 358 and 431 . Brownells has the stuff to do it but I just don't feel comfortable doing it myself . I figure someone could point me out in the right direction ....

    Thanks

Here, the right direction for all such services is to message DougGuy on this forum. He quit reaming and went to a Sunnen hone to produce the smoothest and straightest leades in the industry.

I can handle honing your cylinders, but unless you own the chamfering kit that cuts the forcing cone, you might have quite the task finding a smith that will do it for you, they are either backed up or don't want to mess with such a small job. Brownell's is out of stock on these kits, trying to rent one is an exercise in futility, I got a customer right now who has about wore out every clue as to finding a kit to rent or buy.
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? Click here to send me a PM You can also find me on Facebook Click Here.

Welcome to the CastBoolits forum. As stated from other members, DougGuy does great work. Doug has honed one Ruger .41 magnum cylinder for me, and throated three 9mm barrels. Usually has a fast rurn-around as well. IMO, His prices are very fair.
    If a 41 won't stop it, I wouldn't bet my life on a 44.
