20 year old black powder loaded 45/70 any good?

Loaded these and never used them. Someone said theyve corroded inside and the body will break off and stick in the barrel?

    Thoughts?

Doubtful they have gone bad unless exposed to the elements. BP in a closed space in normal conditions will last a long time.

nonsense I have shot lots of old German military from the 1880's. I've had cases fail by cracking but nothing was blown down the barrel. And so what if it did? Fire one. check your bore - have wiping rod handy just in case.
