Smith and Wesson's new folding M&P carbine

Looks like another entry in the 9mm carbine field.

There are a number of reviews already on Youtube.

That's pretty neat, especially since I already have the M&P pistol and magazines. Going to have to keep an eye on that one.

Minimum video, but enough to make one think. In 9mm? I think it would make a great household defense weapon for a lady. I wouldn't mind having one in .45acp. james

I think one in 10MM would be better.

64 rounds on tap, boy the loonies are going to have a parade over this one.
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? Neat gun but not sure what advantage it has over the Kel-Tec?

I agree with it being a 10mm since I just got one of theirs (S&W MP10).
One ovious advantage over the Kel-Tec is that the sighting system can stay on while folded, Kel-Tecs have to be removed to allow it to fold.
"People in Arizona carry guns," said Detective David Ramer, a Chandler police spokesman. You better be careful about who you are picking on...

The K-T folds over the top of the barrel making decent sights difficult and optics impossible.

    Right, I didn't consider that!
