priming with 4-f-3-f as a booster for bh-209 in a side lock?

could you put a small charge 10-15 grs of say 4-f or 3-f in before loading a charge of bh-209 and useing a # 10-11 percussion cap on the cone-nipple to set the bh-209 off.

If the flash hole is at the level of BP it should work fine. I have played a little with my ROA BP/209 for hunting applications and it has worked fine.

Assuming that it doesnt ignite or have you proved that out???
Try some priming powder down inside the nipple cavity - I been doing that so I can use toyshop caps on my sidelock - the little red plastic ones they sell for about 1.50 for 125 or so - they dont have enough on their own but fill the cavity on the nipple with ffffg and I get 100% ignition with em . might not do what you want but its a quick easy thing to try. I WOULD NOT DO THIS ON A CAPLOCK PISTOL think you would increase the chance of a chainfire across the back end but one at the time on a sidelock give it a go.
