An older man that used to be pretty big at the old D&Z ammo plant where they are supposed to locate said they aren't getting a good start. Maybe a lack of funds?

I agree. Not exactly encouraging to the average primer-hunter.
It did make me start wondering. Some guys buy one hundred primers at a time and some buy 10,000. Every primer is packed in its own little hole for safety. When I started reloading they’d put ten primers in each flat cardboard slot, side by side, with 10 slots per box.
I wonder if primers sold to ammo manufacturers are in boxes of 100 or plastic sheets of a thousand or more.
