You must not have shot much pistol ammunition if you think a progressive press is not a serious increase in loading speed. I got an XL650 years ago, and recently upgraded to a 750. 9mm, over 600 rounds an hour. Switch to my 358W tool head, drops to about 450, and the load will stay under 1" at 100 yds out of an AR-10.

Long ago I was hemming and hawing about what single stage press to buy.

Then I saw a photo in Precision Shooting of the Army Marksmanship Unit support lab, and they were using the CO-AX. That was the only press in the picture.

I guess that was good 'nuff for me? No hesitation, no overthinking. If it was good enough for the AMU, I guess it was good 'nuff for me?

I bought mine 25 or more years back, and it was an awesome investment.

Kalifornia passes "feel good" legislation hand over fist, legislation that is looking for a problem to solve and affecting only law abiding persons.

So, after 40 years of that nonsense, that's why I now live in Arizona.
