This little rascal followed me home last night, it'll fit right in with my .357's.

The 2 on the left are Cowboy45Special cases, far left is a 125 "Barnstormer", hollow base bullet, the next is a 180 grain SWC, 3rd is a 160 grain RFN, 4th is 160 grain truncated cone with a huge grease groove for BP, 5th is a 185 grain WFN, 6th is a 200 grain RFN, and 7th is a RCBS 45-225-CAV with drops @ 230 grains and is also a truncated cone, along with a good sized grease groove making it my favorite BP projectile.

My R92 16” Stainless is one of my favorite rifles. Mine had a very slick action right out of the box. Replaced the buckhorn rear sight with a Marvel Bullseye rear sight. Load Rimrock .45 RNFP to about 1050 fps with Bullseye. Accurate for my old eyes at 50 yards.

Hard not to like a 16" 45 Colt Carbine of any sorts !
250-300 grain cast chugging along at 1100-1400 fps will sort out most hunting issues real fast.

Nice little rascal! That is the kinda gun I look for at all the gun shops in my area. Guys look at me like I am the idiot. All they want is tactical blah blah. Look at that baby shine. Good find. You do not see guns like this in my area for sale.

very nice.... I have a 20" blued version. It is surprisingly accurate with an aperture sight and my almost 70yr old eyesight.

Some of these have over-large chambers, and will bulge the brass.... mine does, but it's not bad enough to get rid of it. Just takes a little more care in reloading. If you don't reload, it's not an issue.
    Slick, slick lever guns.
I'm about to buy a 44 mag version in "an offer I can't refuse" from a friend of mine that has decided he doesn't want/need it...
