    Ati

South Carolina-based American Tactical Inc popped up in Las Vegas last month with a new and very handy single-shot rifle for 2023.

With styling similar to the company's well-liked $150ish American Tactical Nomad break-action shotgun series, the new Lashin rifle is about as basic a single-shot centerfire rifle as you can get. ATI reps told us the new rifle was made to be about as compact as possible, using a 17-inch barrel. Best yet, it is modular with the same frame usable with offered 5.56 NATO, .300 BLK, and .308 Winchester barrel options. It features easy synthetic furniture and a top rail for optics.

Turk SS rifles have been well used down here in Peru for 25+ years. Used to be able to by a 4 barrel set. One receiver for papers...

I’m wondering if those have steel breechface bushings in an aluminum frame- or if they are steel frame? Folding shotguns like Yildiz are aluminum frame. It seems that it would need a steel frame for the .308 level pressure.

I searched the internet for a single shot rifle made by ATI and had no luck. I have seen their folding SS shotguns at a few shops but they were very lightly built and not a good platform for making a rifle out of . The last good ones were the Baikal SS rifles and shotguns that Remington and Baikal sold some 15 years ago. They were all steel , walnut stocks and very strong built the shotguns were about $ 80 and the rifles under $ 200 but if you find them now used they want 3 X that for them.

Search ATI Lashin rifle, Jedman. That’s how I found it. It resembles the Hatfield shotguns that Walmart offered for a while.

Yea I will pass also, For about the same money the CVA Scouts are nicer and for a few dollars more the Henry single shot is much nicer looking and has many other advantages.
