    Bullet recommendation for 38-55

I’m getting the itch for a new mold for my 38-55 High Wall. It has a 14 twist liner. .368” bore and .385 groove. How long/heavy can I go? Any recommendations?

The 14 twist would allow the 330 gr Lyman Postell bullet and that’s about max. Been there done that, had it rechambered to a 38-50.

    Thanks Kenny,
I’ve heard good things about this bullet from others as well. I’ll try to find this mold or maybe order some bullets to try.
I’ve had decent results with an Accurate 305 grain bullet and also a 300 grain, groove sized PP.
I’m not trying to make the rifle into something it’s not. Just looking for better results on paper at 300 yards.
I hear a lot about the 38-50. Arnies favorite!
    Jim
