Mostly 25 and 32 RF short and long. Pretty much most of the common manufactures. P, US, U, H, Diamond, D, A, and no headstamp. I am getting more 38's all the time and I just got some uncommon .22 shorts and longs.

I used to have quite a few old rim fire cartridges that came along with a lot of things I bought at the same time. I’m not sure what happened to them. Maybe one of my sons have them. Now that I have the free time, I would like to figure out what exactly they are.

Is it a variety of just a couple different cartridges. Since they never have much of a headstamp, it can be a challenge to identify some of them.

I have a bunch with no headstamp but different bullets so probably different manufacturer's but who can say.

Yeah, I only have two because I won't pay that much for them but I am looking a some that if I can get them for $10 per, I might pull the trigger.

Does the Henry have a "H" headstamp?
Looking for Ideal mold 419181 (44 Evans Long)
"Joined Dates" are deceiving if you factor-in "lurk" dates.

Hey, the Henry's have an H headstamp, I have a pair. That is just a tiny portion of my collection, just what I got recently.

Thanks for that insight. That is what I was thinking but was not sure enough to say. The head stamp is J.G. one has and underline under the initials and the other does not.

I just bought three full boxes of Winchester 38 RF, two boxes of short and one of long. All with the H headstamp. Boxes are rough but complete and full.

Wow that's some really neat stuff. Thank you for sharing it with us. I'd love to get my hands on a 44 Henry for my collection. I don't have anything nearly as old or as neat as you do. But I'm just getting started too. I love reading cartridges of the world.

I don't suppose you have an actual bullet for 44 henry? I've never seen one either pulled or otherwise

Picture in post #13 has two 44 henry rounds.

The far left cartridge in the first picture in post #1 is a 44 Henry.
